Teaching Methodologies
A pedagogical model is proposed that is based on distance learning, using a b-Learning methodology, as well as different online communication tools with videos and images visualization in line with the syllabus. The training contents will be permanently available and, therefore, can be accessed at the most convenient time for the student. In this way, the master’s student can optimize his time management, reducing problems of incompatibility of schedules with his professional practice and private life. The number of displacements and their economic and social impact is also safeguarded. The assessment will be carried out remotely in the form of a written and individual essay on the entire program taught, with a minimum grade for approval of 9.5 points.
Learning Results
The student must acquire knowledge, skills and aptitudes to:
Identify the most recent guidelines for the echocardiographic study;
Perform hemodynamic calculations in several studied pathological situations;
Identify the various patterns provided by the TEE and tissue doppler;
Identify the particular cases in which the use of the 3D echocardiogram is essential;
Study cardiac mechanics using speckle tracking;
Perform the echocardiographic study in the competition athlete;
Make the respective report of the studies carried out.
