Teaching Methodologies

The methodological choices conducive to the fulfillment of the program of the curricular unit will focus on two key educational components:
– Theoretical-practical component – oral presentation oriented to the estimated contents;
– Practical component – development work under teacher’s guidance.

The curricular unit can be performed by continuums or examination mode.

Continuums evaluation:
1. Student’s performance in class activities (20% for each expression, for a total of 80%).
2. Student’s behaviors and attitudes (5% for each expression, for a total of 20%).
The presence and active participation in each expression is obligatory.
Exam:
Theoretical test (20 values).

Learning Results

1. Learn how to express themselves and orient dance activities, using movements and motor / expressive actions appropriate to recreate and develop creative choreographic forms.
2. Understand the dramatic language as a significant element of expression / communication from experiences, memories, images and ideas.
3. Learn how to use basic methodologies and techniques of musical intervention that may be used in the context of community activities.
4. Framework of the visual arts and identification of elements of visual language and basic domination of means and techniques of plastic expression.
5. Develop intervention animation and community exercises in artistic expressions context.

1. DANCE
1.1. Movement elements of language the dance: body, space, time, energy and relationship
1.2. The creation – experimentation in dance (movement phrases and composition). Methodological guidelines and approaches in different contexts and populations
2. DRAMA
2.1. Dramatic expression in non-formal and informal educational context: cultural and theatrical animation in a specific social contexts
3. MUSIC
3.1. Relationship between Music and Socioceducative Animation. Fundamentals, concepts, objectives and methodological supports.
3.2. Participatory and interventional pedagogy in a plural community, according to the perspectives (social, cultural and educational). Appeal to dynamism and experience, allowing the exercise of creative capacity in a formal, non-formal and informal context.
4. PLASTIC
4.1. History of Art – key styles and currents
