Teaching Methodologies
Theoretical component: presentation and discussion of the topics covered followed by an explanatory description of the main aspects regarding the current technological solutions. Some topics are covered on the workshops prepared and presented by students to the whole class. In the present edition the following topics will be covered: Application layer switching, Anycast, Cloud Computing, Linux HA.
Lab component: configuration challenges on network testbeds to solve practical challenges within the addressed topics.
Written exam weight: 60% or 80% (12 or 16 points in 20); the written exam must be completed on the scheduled dates.
Workshop weight: 40% or 20 % (8 or 4 points in 20); Preparing and presenting a hands on workshop on a related subject.
