Teaching Methodologies
The contents of the laboratory matter are presented in laboratorial lessons, being then applied to the practical works done in the laboratory. The study material and practical work protocols will be available to students through the platform adopted by ISEC.
Learning Results
With this curricular unit it is intended that the students develop the skills, attitudes, behaviours, methodologies and the best practices, scientific reasoning and that they:
»Acquire the theoretical and practical foundations of Chemistry Laboratory and the classic Analytical and Quantitative Chemistry.
»Acquire the theoretical and practical foundations in volumetric acid-base, precipitation, complexation and acid-base.
»Acquire the skills of self-organization, communication and relational.
»Acquire technical skills in the domain of the chemist laboratory at the level of the basic safety and handling of chemicals in the laboratory, preparation and standardization of the solutions used in chemical analysis and quantitative treatment of samples for chemical analysis.
»Acquire technical skills in the use of conductometry, potentiometric and volumetric as specific analysis techniques.
»Acquire skills in the interpretation of results of analysis
