Teaching Methodologies
Classes will be taught under theoretical and practical regime, in computer rooms.
An expository methodology will be used for the presentation of the concepts of the course, supported by practice in the classroom, through the resolution of proposed exercises of application of the concepts transmitted, in the classroom computers. The experimentation will seek to approach, whenever possible, to situations that students will encounter in their professional life.In addition to classes, students should develop further work, which will be shown throughout the semester.
Learning Results
This course aims to provide students with conceptual and instrumental skills in the field of spreadsheets that are particularly useful in the context of other courses as well as the subsequent effective and efficient exercise
of students’ professional activity.
The specific objectives of this course aims to give students a basic understanding of management technology and information systems and the role they play in the organizations, that students be able to usespreadsheets
to solve problems, perform data analysis, create reports and the expound conclusions.
At the end of the course, students should have developed the ability to solve problems using spreadsheet
applications, using advanced features of these tools.
