Teaching Methodologies

The teaching-learning process is based on a combination of activities that use different methods appropriate to each type of content:
– Lectures on theoretical principles, using audiovisual media and participatory strategies;
– Practical component, with text analysis, case studies, guided research, made individually or in groups, complemented with tutorial guidance activities.

1. Recognize Economics as a social science;
2. To comprehend the function of farmers in the food system and their interactions with other economic players;
3. Understanding the framework and primary tools of the Common Agricultural Policy;
4. To comprehend the agricultural price creation mechanism;
5. Understanding the special characteristics of agricultural product markets;
6. Research and analyse agricultural market information independently;
7. To explain agricultural market concerns clearly and effectively through oral and written presentations;
8. Know how to work in a group and participate constructively in discussions among colleagues with different points of view.
