Teaching Methodologies
The internship plan will be accompanied by a teacher, who will act as guidance professor and by a professional designated by the host institution, who will act as the internship supervisor. The guidance professor should accompany the internship plan by means of periodic meetings with the student and the supervisor and by visits to the organization. The supervisor should accompany the daily tasks performed by the trainee.
Learning Results
- Enable the analysis and application of legal regulations in force within the framework of land use planning and urban planning, whether in the framework of real and registration rights.

- Interpret and understand territorial management instruments.
- Introduce the basics of geodesy, reference systems and cartographic projections.
- Introduce notions of cartography, interpretation and analysis of topographic maps.
- Transmit knowledge that allows the carrying out of topographic surveys (classical methods and positioning techniques).
- Qualify for the handling of different types of topographic equipment.
- Train for the analysis, manipulation and processing of geographic information in digital support.
- Introduce the concepts and functionalities of the SNIC. (Cadastre Information National System).
- Enable the design, modeling and integration of data in the context of a land registry execution operation.
Program
The formation in work context is carried out in selected host entities based on criteria of suitability, as well as on the adequacy of the entity’s activity to the knowledge acquired in the other academic components of CTeSP.
The specific study program of the curricular unit is subject to the activity of host entity, and an individual work plan is prepared for each student and included in the internship agreement. The work plan must be signed by the student, the ESTGOH-designated advisor and the host-appointed supervisor, who will accompany the student during the internship.
A plan must be prepared in advance and accepted by all parties, outlining the objectives to be achieved and the tasks to be developed.
Grading Methods
- - Evaluation of students’ performance in work context by the supervisor: - 30.0%
- - Evaluation of the placement final report by a council of professor, including the guidance professor; - 30.0%
- - Evaluation of the placement final report public presentation and defense by the same council. - 40.0%
