Teaching Methodologies
The theoretical and practical classes, will set the conditions to develop a set of theoretical and practical assignments to be developed during the semester in the classroom and fieldwork for the collection of information, carried out using Positioning Systems (GPS).
Learning Results
1 – Students must understand the geological and climatic phenomena with environment expression;
2 – Recognize soil, climatic and social characteristics that determine the main land use systems in Portugal;
3 – Know the concepts and methods of performing surveys and master the various techniques of data collection and information production;
4 – Know the different forms of cartographic representation and how to produce and analyze them.
Program
This program contents are divided into two learning modules: Module 1 – Understanding geological and climatic phenomena and their relationship with the environment and land use; Module 2 – Use of surveying techniques and tools in cartography production.
