Internship

Base Knowledge

Knowledge acquired in all curricular units that constitute the components of general and scientific training and technical training.

Teaching Methodologies

As practical training in the workplace, there is a predominance of active teaching methodologies.

Learning Results

It is expected that by the end of the internship the student will be able to:

  • Apply, in a real context and in an integrated and interdisciplinary way, knowledge acquired in the technical training component;
  • Show work habits appropriate to a certain real context;
  • Work as a team with a high ethical and deontological sense.

Program

The on-the-job training component takes place in selected host entities based on suitability criteria, as well as the suitability of the entity’s activity to the knowledge acquired in the other CTeSP training components.

Thus, the specific study program of the curricular unit is conditioned to the economic activity and the type of welcoming entity, with an individual work plan being elaborated for each student to be included in the internship booklet. The work plan must be signed by the student, the advisor designated by ESTGOH and the supervisor designated by the host entity, who will accompany the student during the internship.

All work carried out in the internship will be subject of a detailed report, to be prepared by the student, within the defined deadlines.
