Teaching Methodologies

In this curricular unit, the following teaching methods are used:

1. Expository, using audiovisual means to explain the syllabus;

2. Active, through the resolution of practical cases and discussion of case studies and scientific articles;

3. Collaborative, through group work.

Learning Results

At the end of the course unit the learner is expected to be able to:

a) Identify the skills required to lead people and groups in the tourism sector;

b) Develop leadership behaviors appropriate to the tourism sector;

c) Develop management skills, articulating the management of human resources with the overall management of the organization in the tourism sector;

d) Develop specific skills for the creation of motivated and autonomous teams in the tourism sector.
