Matemática II

Base Knowledge

Differential calculus in IR

Teaching Methodologies

In this curricular unit, the following teaching methodologies are used: 1) Verbal Methodologies (say), making use of pedagogical resources: Exposition, Explanation, Dialogue and Interrogation; 2) Intuitive Methodologies (show), making use of pedagogical resources: Demonstration, Audiovisual and Written Texts;

Learning Results

1.deepen and expand their knowledge of real functions of real variables, in particular, that dominate the methods of primitives in IR, and that understand, graphically and analytically, the concept of definite integral and improper integral. 2. solve first-order ordinary differential equations and second-order linear equations with constant coefficients. 3. master the calculus with functions of several variables, namely the calculus of limits, partial derivatives and the study of extremes. 4. know the main numerical methods for approximating functions, for performing numerical derivation and integration, and for solving ordinary differential equations.

Program

1.Integration and applications. 2. Differential Equations. 3. Functions of several variables and optimization. 4. Introduction to Numerical Methods.
