Teaching Methodologies
Teaching methodologies are based on exposititive and active sessions, in which the student’s ability to investigate, analyze and reflect is explored.
Continuous assessment will take into account the quality of the students’ involvement in carrying out the programmed activities, namely attendance, participation in activities and practical assignments (60% individual assignments; 40% group assignments).
The evaluation by exam consists of a written test (100%) that will grasp the program contents.
Learning Results
Understand the role of the media in democratic societies.
Critically reflect on the media and its use.
Promote skills towards interpreting and understanding information.
Development of Media Literacy skills, essential for an active and democratic citizenship.
Promotion of Media Literacy against misinformation, fake news, hate speech, violation of privacy, through respect, dialogue and a critical voice over the world.
