The following teaching methodologies are used in this curricular unit: interpretation and analysis of the
legal provisions and exposure of contents by the teacher and its discussion with the students; resolution
of practical real case studies and court decisions by the students.

The objectives of this course are:
a) Qualify for the analysis and application of legal regulations in force within the framework of
property registration law;
b) Identify the importance of the notarial function, notarial acts and instruments;
c) Know and understand the land publicity derived from the registry;
d) Provide training for the interpretation of land registry certificates and for making land registration
requests;
e) Recognize the importance of the multifunctional land cadastre as an indispensable tool for
understanding the structure of land ownership, for the identification of its owners and for the territorial
management system;
f) Know and analyze procedures of the cadastral information system.
