Organisational Behaviour

Base Knowledge

Those referring to the development of subjects contained in the content of the course’s program, aiming to provide master’s students with technical-instrumental knowledge regarding the issue of Organizational Behavior. Analyze the most common forms of organization of work structures, taking into account the elements that frame organizational culture, leadership strategies, the motivation process, conflict management and negotiation process, in the sense of achieving organizational objectives. The management of the change necessary for the good performance of the teams, as the main element of the performance printed by the leader in order to guarantee, with a better organizational climate, the effectiveness in terms of organizational behavior.

Teaching Methodologies

The discipline will work with classes/sessions with the active participation of students.
In the classes/sessions, points of the program and proposed works will be presented by the students, under the supervision of the teacher, in a dynamic of constructive discussion and investigation among all Master’s students.

Learning Results

Make students conscious of needs arising from information societies, namely in what concerns
acquiring/updating information, process of managing change and professional change in the context of ethics
and deontology. Stimulating work capacity in teams, argumentation and discussion capacity and develop taste in taking risks, trying to find clues for problem solving in the area of Human Resources.
