Teaching Methodologies
The methodological options leading to the fulfillment of the curricular unit’s program will focus on three
fundamental pedagogical components:
6.1. Theoretical component – oral presentation oriented towards the foreseen contents, using multimedia resources whenever possible;
6.2. Practical component – practical exercises for exploring and consolidating the contents of the course.
6.3. Theoretical-practical component – study and presentation of works/productions;
6.4. The evaluation of the curricular unit will take place, by option of the student, in one of the following ways:
– Continuous evaluation;
– Exam.
6.4.1 Continuous evaluation: work 1 (40%); final portfolio (60%);
6.4.2. Exam: written test with a weight of 25%, followed by a practical test of photographic capture and editing.
Learning Results
3.1. To deepen the theoretical and practical knowledge of digital image production;
3.2. Development of digital photographic image editing processes;
3.3. To explore different photographic image composition strategies;
3.4. To know and identify reference artists and photographers of contemporary photography;
3.5. To be able to visually communicate specific messages to a specific target audience;
3.6. To analyze, both critically and reflectively, the photographic image;
3.7. To design and create original photographic portfolios in a “creative photography” perspective.

4.2. Techniques and strategies of creative photography: contemporary art; photo montage and staging; illustration; surrealism and fantastic art.
