Teaching Methodologies

The methodological options leading to the fulfillment of the curricular unit program will focus on the following pedagogical components:

 

– Practical component – development of projects from the launch of individual or group creative exploration and experimentation exercises;

 

– Theoretical component – oral presentation of contents by the teacher, relating to concepts of plastic expression and approach to elements of visual language, means and techniques of expression.

Given the specificity of this curricular unit, the student must guarantee the minimum presence in 36 contact hours (classes), having, in that condition, the right to the accomplishment of examination, in case of not having obtained approval by continuous evaluation.

 

Continuous Evaluation

 

– Presential and Participative Component – 10%;

– Theoretical Component – 20%;

– Practical Work – 70%.

 

Exam

Theoretical component – 25%;

Practical component – 75%.

Learning Results

– Understanding the conceptual framework in which visual expression is inscribed.
– Identification of elements of visual grammar and mastery of means and techniques of expression and representation.
– Development of visual expression projects associated with methodological references of a pedagogical, reflective, expressive and creative nature.
