Teaching Methodologies
The 3 ECTS correspond to 80 total work hours, with 30h of theoretical and practical classes.
Expository methodology will be adopted for the presentation of theoretical concepts, using slideshow presentations and videos. Debate of real case scenarios and applied research by students will be stimulated. Field visit to company related with PLF or precision livestock farm and/or seminars with specialist of the sector.

The main outcome of this curricular unit is to provide students with the general contact with precision livestock farming (PLF)
1. Knows livestock precision farming technologies
2. Understands the potential of PLF impact on animal welfare and competitivity and sustainability of the sector
