Teaching Methodologies

The curricular unit teaching, has an eminently theoretical-practical character. Alongside the expository methodology, it will focus on active methodologies of text analysis, demonstration/analysis of real cases, simulation, using the respective practical instruments.

General objectives:

– Understand the fundamental role of recruitment and selection in strategic HR management;

– Prepare and conduct effective recruitment and selection processes;

– Plan and implement effective processes for welcoming and integrating new employees.

Skills to Develop:

– Apply recruitment and selection methodologies and practices, adapting them to different professional and organizational contexts;

– Define a professional profile and prepare a Job Analysis and description;

– Implement and evaluate employer branding strategies and practices;

– Appropriately apply the different interview methodologies;

– Know and apply different tests to evaluate candidates;

– Apply instruments and metrics for evaluation and validation of the selection process;

– Develop preboarding and onboarding actions and instruments.
