Learning Results
Provide the students with the knowledge of a set of tools necessary to the implementation of a Quality Management System within a strategic policy of continuous improvement and innovation. The focus is in Quality Management and its related techniques, both in the area of procedural control and in the domain of process optimization. The learning outcomes are the:
1. Notion of the importance of the concept of Quality, its historical evolution and value in enterprise development policies;
2. Familiarity with the Quality Manual;
3. Ability to develop procedures to integrate in Quality Manuals;
4. Notion of integration between Quality, Strategy and Marketing;
5. Ability to interpret Quality tools, particularly statistical tools.
6. Ability to design quality control tools, particularly control charts and acceptance sampling plans.
7. Ability to use the 7M group of quality control tools.
