Lab component: probIem soIving exercises, impIementation and verification of structured cabIing systems, site surveys and configuration of a VoIP networks.
Learning Results
This course covers aspects of the structured cabling on local area networks. Students will acquire skills in design, specify and install structured cabling plants according to the ISO/IEC and the IEEE global standards. Knowledge on Voice over IP (VoIP) technology and related configuration complements the contents. This course partially covers the first semester of the curriculum Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA Exploration), internally managed by the Cisco Academy.
