Systematic Pathological Anatomy II

Base Knowledge

Anatomy, Fisiology, Celular Biology and Imunology

Teaching Methodologies

In the theoretical classes, there will be a detailed presentation of the syllabus, using an expository, interrogative and active methodology, with direct participation of the students. Theoretical-practical classes will use a demonstrative methodology of the concepts learned, with resolution and discussion of problems.

Learning Results

The student must acquire scientific and theoretical-practical knowledge to be developed in Pathological Anatomy:

– Know and understand the macroscopic and microscopic morphological changes of pathological processes that compromise the organism’s balance.

– Identify, characterize and understand the etiology and pathogenesis of changes in pathological processes.

– Framework of diseases in Pathological Anatomy and study methodologies;

– Recognize diseases in surgical products and parts

The student must acquire skills to use scientific and technical language to interpret morphology and diseases in Pathological Anatomy.

The student must acquire skills in identifying the products received in the Pathological Anatomy laboratories, associating the pathological processes with the defence mechanisms, as well as identifying and applying in a specific way the appropriate procedures for the diagnosis and preservation of the samples.
