Teaching Methodologies

In this curricular unit the work methodology will be predominantly practical. However, it will appeal to theoretical explanations, as well video viewing and, if possible, live shows to promote the theoretical and practical content.

The various activities proposed will be developed individually, in small and / or large group with the aim of gradual acquisition of knowledge and skills that allow their intevenção as part of their professional future.

EVALUATION METHODS

The evaluation on the curricular unit will, at the option of the student, of one of the following modalities: Continuous evaluation or Exam

Continuous evaluation (100%)

A) Practical activities (60%)

 Participation, performance and progress of students in proposed activities in class. 

B) Activity theory and practice (40%)

or

Exam – 100%

Learning Results

1. Knowing the theory and practice of the specific characteristics of Theatrical Language.

2. Recognize and apply the potentialities of the Theatre in Education and Leisure.

3. Identify events, cultural players and institutions that may develop theater activities with and for different social communities.

1. Introduction to the specificity of theater show.

2. Theatre of the Oppressed

3. Analysis of the theater performance.

4. The theater performed with non-professional groups: choice and study of the text, improvisation and interpretation.
