Teaching Methodologies
In the theoretical-practical classes we use the expository and inquisitive method during the explanation of theoretical issues and proceed to the resolution of practical exercises depicting real situations of design of wastewater treatment systems. In class tutorial exercises are held.
Learning Results
The aim of the course is to convey to the students complementary expertise in relation to the one
acquired at the bachelor degree level, in the field of wastewater treatment, in order to: 1) build capacity to
design small and medium sized wastewater treatment systems, 2) build capacity for the operation of small,
medium and large wastewater treatment systems, 3) provide bases for further studies at a higher level in the
field of wastewater treatment.
