Teaching Methodologies

In this curricular unit, will be used an expositive methodology, starting from the theoretical basis of the discipline. This methodology will be complemented by empirical data to illustrate the theoretical principles. Recent scientific articles will be used to demonstrate the applicability of theory to specific situations. Students can choose continuous evaluation (practical work carried out in class 100 %)  Assessment by exam in all evalution periods (written test 100%). 

Learning Results

After completing this course unit, the students are expected to: a) Understand the phenomenon of communication in a social perspective; b) Acquire an integrated theoretical perspective on the main research topics of the discipline; c) Demonstrate the ability to apply this knowledge in solving research problems and in carrying out communication practices (in the context of different professional activities in this area).
