Teaching Methodologies

6.1- Art works presentation, analysis and discussion based on art works .Monitoring and guided students studio.

6.2- Given the specificity of this curricular unit, the student must guarantee a minimum presence in 40 contact hours (classes), with the right to take an exam, in case he/she has not been approved by continuous assessment.

CONTNUOUS EVALUATION
– Attendance participation – 10% of the global assessment;
– Practical assignments – 90% of the global assessment.

EXAM
– Theoretical component – 30% of the overall examination;
– Practical component – 70% of the overall exam assessment.

 

Learning Results

3.1- To know the phases of the artistic project methodology;
3.2- Analyze and study a problem or question, and define goals and imagine solutions;
3.3- Justify the feasibility of execution and cost forecast;
3.4- Choose a technique and explore its development possibilities;
3.5- Develop artistic intervention approaches centered on the concepts, “feminism”, “intervention”, “street art”/”urban art”, “public art” or “art and nature”.

 

Program

4.1- Introduction to the artistic project;
4.2- Proposal for the integration of a project centered on one of the following techniques: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Photography, Installation, Video.
4.3- The creative process: idea/concept/essays; preliminary study and design/resources and budget;
4.4- Realization/production;
4.5- Interaction/participation/collaboration with the public and the surrounding community;
4.6- Final presentation: exhibition project, intervention, installation in place (site-specific).
