Teaching Methodologies
Two complementary methodologies will be used: – interpretation and analysis of legal provisions and exposure of content by the teacher and its discussion with students; – resolution of real life cases and judicial decisions by students.
Learning Results
(a) to understand the current importance of e-commerce and knows the principles and rules governing ecommerce activity.
(b) to know the principles and the rules that protect online business and personal affirmation modes, including protection derived from intellectual property law (e.g. copyright, patents, utility models, topography of semiconductor products, domain names, etc.)
c) To know the principles and rules that protect the field of privacy and online personal data.
d) To know the legal types of computer crime.
Program
1. Structuring principles of the legal and economic order: commercial law, information technology and the study of law, e-commerce in the computer society.
2. Legal regulation of the it company and e-commerce: e-procurement.
3. Consumer protection in e-commerce; privacy protection and e-commerce.
4. Intellectual property in the information society: intellectual property, definition of intellectual property; function of intellectual property.
5. Industrial property law: industrial property securities and their legal regime.
6. Copyright in the information society and sui genereis rights: the legal protection of computer programs and databases.
7. Computer crimes.
