Cumputer Aidded Design

Base Knowledge

None.

Teaching Methodologies

Students begin by learning the basic knowledge of technical drawing and contacting the main ISO technical drawing standards. Then, they study successively the various subjects that allow him to read, interpret and draw in orthogonal projections and perspectives. Finally, using Autodesk Inventor software, they use the latest 2D modeling tools to design, dimension, and make presentations of parts and assemblies in the field of electromechanical engineering.

Learning Results

Objectives: To provide fundamental concepts that allow students to read, understand, interpret and create technical drawings and schemes, in orthogonal projections and perspectives. It is also intended that they become aware of the main international standards associated with it as well as the most recent tools for computer aided design.
Generic skills: Promote the exchange of ideas and discussion of problems and solutions; Develop self-learning habits. Specific skills: Know how to develop drawings and technical schemes, either using traditional means or using the latest computer-aided design tools.
