Teaching Methodologies
In theoretical classes, a description of each subject and its concepts is made, which is complemented by the resolution of practical examples and application exercises whenever possible.
In the theoretical-practical classes, a theoretical subjects are applied through out the resolution of exercises, applying the acquired knowledge.
There is a group project component in which an assignment must be addressed: the simulation of a project planning and management using CPM / PERT techniques and the optimization of a specific problem through linear programming techniques. These assignments will will lead to a monograph.
Learning Results
Integrated vision of the different technologies that are used in project planning and managing solutions with the main goal of providing analysis and planning skills, as well as knowledge in operation optimization algorithms.
At the end of this course students should be able to understand and to know of available project planning and managing techniques and its objectives, and also operational optimization through linear programming techniques (balanced production, shortest path methods, resource allocation, etc.)
Program
Understanding and Knowing of available planning and managing techniques and its objectives
