Teaching Methodologies

Teaching methodologies that promote autonomy in the study and integration of theoretical and practical knowledge. The subjects and bibliographic sources are presented in theoretical and practical classes. The students train the gymnastics motor patterns and elaborate written work on the subjects.

 

The assessment will be continuous/periodic (C/P) or examination (E)

 

Attendance – 10%.

Laboratory or field work – 60%

Test – 30%.

 AND:

Written test – 100%.

For access to the final evaluation by examination, students must obtain a minimum of 35% points in the laboratory or field work.

Learning Results

1. Promote the acquisition of knowledge about the specificities of gymnastics in relation to its origin and historical development, current institutional framework, regulations and judging, educational philosophy of the FGP, gymnastic apparatus and gymnastics spaces

2. Promote the acquisition of knowledge and skills in the execution of gymnastics motor patterns taking into account the idea of body as a means of construction of gymnastics movement associated, posture, body balance and range of motion

3. Promote the acquisition of theoretical knowledge about gymnastics nomenclature

4. Promote the acquisition of knowledge about general and specific fitness in gymnastics

5. Promote the acquisition of knowledge and skills on short, medium and long term planning, including training sessions plans

6. Develop didactic competences on training guidance

7. Develop competences on gymnast evaluation

Program

1. Caracterização da modalidade no contexto dos desportos.

2. Enquadramento histórico e institucional, regulamentos, espaços e aparelhos.

3. Padrões motores gímnicos, postura, equilíbrio e amplitude dos movimentos.

4. Preparação física do ginasta.

5. Pedagogia e didáctica na ginástica.

6. Planeamento e orientação de sessões de treino de ginástica.

7. Testes e avaliação dos ginastas.
