Teaching Methodologies

The classes will have an expository component, in which the key aspects will be taught in theoretical terms, with the remaining time dedicated to the execution of practical work.
Continuous evaluation:
In-person participation: Students are evaluated for their participation in class work.
Group work: Production of two podcasts in class (sound works to be indicated in class) (40% of the grade, resulting from the arithmetic average of the works).
Individual work: Performing, mostly in class, a podcast (thematic) (60% of the grade).
Exam assessment:
Written test (40%)
Technical proof (60%): podcast (thematic).
All assessment types and components have a minimum grade of 7.5. If not achieved, the final grade is that obtained in the other components, and can not exceed 9 Values (Article 26 (b) of the IPC 1st Cycle Academic Regulation).

Learning Results

It is intended to enable future media professionals with the necessary skills to perform techniques of realization and post-production audio/radio, with a focus on digital audio editing and online publishing (podcasts).
The knowledge to be acquired and the skills to develop involve understanding the elements of sound language; mastering audio editing techniques, sound tracking and adapting to different sonorous and audiovisual products, in particular taking into account the production of digital content for new media.
