Teaching Methodologies

The sessions will take place around a theme previously presented by the teacher and based on selected bibliography. The classes are divided between an exposure period and a period of theoretical debate, relying on this prior reading by students of works or parts of works agreed with the teacher for each session.

Continuous assessment will focus on the participation and intervention of relevant motivating debate on the content discussed in each class. In each session will be presented by each student, a written reflection that focus on the content covered in class

Learning Results

1. Identify different schools of thought regarding the design of theater in its different variables.
2. Establish relationships between text study, study of the representation, historical context and other fields of knowledge.
3. Understand and analyze the theater object through various variables that it can take.

1. Currents of theatrical thought.
2. Playwriting, acting and working methodologies.
3. Analysis of dramatic and non-dramatic texts related to a particular theme
