Teaching Methodologies

After the T and TP components, of reasoning, the PL component is consolidated through the experience of situations taken from real contexts and cases of coordination and supervision of gyms and clubs.
Evaluation is continuous or by exam.
For continuous evaluation [100% = 20 values] the following items are considered:
1. Test 1 (15%).
2. Test 2 (15%).
3. Project/work (30%).
4. Report (15%).
5. Oral presentation (20%).
6. Presential participation (5%).
The exam consists of a theoretical test (100%).

Learning Results

Acquisition and development of knowledge and competences in:
1. Coordination and supervision of the prescription, evaluation, conduction and orientation of programs and activities, in the area of fitness maintenance, in the scope of the operation of gyms and clubs.
2. Coordination and supervision of the evaluation of the quality of the services provided, as well as preparation of proposals to improve the quality of the fitness services.
3. Elaboration of technical manual of operations of the sporting activities that take place in the gyms and clubs.
4. Coordination of the production of sports activities in the field of fitness.
5. Technical and strategic supervision of the activities carried out in the gyms and clubs.
6. Elaboration of adherence and maintenance strategies in regular physical activity programs in gyms and clubs.
