Teaching Methodologies

The methodological options leading to the fulfillment of the curricular unit program will focus on the following pedagogical strategy:

6.1.Theoretical – oral exposure targeted to the content provided, by using different materials sup-ports;

6.2.Laboratory work – application of the content provided;

6.3.Theoretical-practical component – study and presentation of works / productions and their authors.

 

The curricular unit can be performed by:

– Continuous evaluation;

– Examination mode.

 

6.4.The continuous evaluation

1st Pre-Production – 20% in the global assessment;

2nd Production – 30% in the global assessment;

3rd Post-production – 50% in the global assessment.

 

6.5.Exam

Theoretical component – 40% in the overall assessment of the exam,

Practical component – 60% in the overall assessment of the exam.

Learning Results

3.1. To know how to apply different videographic aesthetics according to the desired outcome, whether this conceptual or commercial character. Integrate knowledge about visual narratives, experimental, diachronic and anachronistic as the aim of producing, transmitting and creatively promote an idea;
3.2. Ability to apply special effects using digital techniques;
3.3. Acquisition of knowledge about the promotional video: musical and commercial genre;
3.4. Learn to manipulate and promote the video in different formats, devices and times.

4.1. NON-LINEAR EDITING
4.1.1. Video and solipsism. Processes of Abstraction – cognitive experience;
4.1.2. The relationship between sound and image.
4.2. EFFECTS ON POST-PRODUCTION
4.2.1. Application of standard and special effects in digital editing;
4.2.2. Export formats and resolution of video and sound.
4.3. The PROMOTIONAL VIDEO
4.3.1. Music Video: the representation of an identity through video;
4.3.2. Video advertising: persuasion techniques associated rhythm and assembly.
4.4. PROMOTION AND DISSEMINATION
4.4.1. Video in the context of Internet;
4.4.2. Festivals and events display videographic projects.
