Teaching Methodologies
In this curricular unit, the following teaching methods are used: 1. Expository, using audiovisual means to explain the syllabus;
2. Active, through the resolution of practical cases and discussion of case studies and scientific articles.
3. Interactive, through group work.
Learning Results
At the end of the course, students are expected to be able to:
a) Understand the concepts of sustainability, corporate social responsibility, business ethics, and global challenges, recognizing the role ofcompanies in mitigating these issues;
b) Integrate sustainability principles into business strategies, using frameworks and indicators such as ESG and GRI to assess and monitorsustainable performance;
c) Design Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and leverageemerging technologies to drive sustainability;
d) Demonstrate leadership, communication, and critical analysis skills to promote business sustainability, identify ethical dilemmas, andapply relevant regulations and public policies.
