Human Resources

The Human Resources Management Department exercises its powers in the areas of teaching and non-teaching staff management, and is responsible in particular for:

a) Carrying out the administrative management of PUC’s human resources processes related to tenders, hiring, holidays, absences, leaves of absence, work provision modalities, overtime work, business trips, service exemptions, family benefits and other social benefits, retirement, accumulation of functions, processing of salaries, other allowances and discounts, as well as the management of individual processes;

b) Ensuring the issuance of certificates, declarations and notes on the length of service of PUC workers;

c) Carrying out legal analysis of processes and matters within the scope of human resources relating to tenders, careers, employment relationships, progressions, accumulation of functions, mobility, work provision modalities, allowances, holidays, absences and leaves of absence, among others, of PUC staff;

d) Ensuring the preparation of orders, regulations, studies and procedures relating to human resources management, requested by the PUC Management Bodies;

e) Communicating with the National Press, Organic Units and other entities on matters relating to human resources management;

f) Monitoring and analysing the management of PUC staff quotas and personnel maps;

g) Collecting and analysing information and preparing reports on the actions carried out by PUC in the area of ​​human resources management;

h) Proposing the definition of common PUC human resources management procedures;

i) Supporting and participating in training programs for workers integrated into the PUC human resources management department;

j) Preparing the Social Balance Sheet and provide the information legally required within the scope of Human Resources, namely: INDEZ, REBIDES and SIOE.

 

The Human Resources Management Department is headed by a 2nd-degree middle manager (Head of Division) and carries out its activities in hierarchical and functional dependence on the Administrator.
