The SASIPC Accommodation and Hospitality Unit guarantees affordable accommodation conditions for students of the Polytechnic of Coimbra, while simultaneously providing a suitable environment for studying, socializing and integration, with 374 beds distributed across two residence complexes:

– Residences in Bencanta (S. Martinho do Bispo, Coimbra), with 2 buildings (R1 and R2), with a total capacity to accommodate 226 students

– Residences in Quinta da Nora (Olivais, Coimbra), with 4 buildings (R3), with a total capacity to accommodate 148 students

Accommodation prices per month

until August 31, 2025:

– Grant student in a shared double room: 89.12€

– Non-grant student in a shared double room: 120.00€

– Erasmus/International student in a shared double room: 160.00€

– PUC Student (Apartment): from 180.00€

– Erasmus/International Student (Apartment): from 210.00€

– 94 double rooms, with private bathroom and central heating

– 4 double rooms adapted for disabled guests in an apartment with pantry, bathroom and living room

– 1 common room in each Block

– 4 study rooms in each Block (one/wing)

– 4 equipped pantries, per Block (one/wing)

– 1 self-service laundry for the complex

Applications for social housing

Applications for accommodation must be submitted within the deadlines defined and disclosed in the Notices published on this website and submitted exclusively online.
Priority is given to displaced grant students.

4th Phase of Application for Accommodation
Academic year 2024/2025
From October 1, 2024 to May 15, 2025

Within the scope of the Internal Regulations of the Student Residences of the Social Action Services of the Polytechnic University of Coimbra, Notice No. 11/2024/SASIPC is hereby made public for the 4th phase of Applications regarding accommodation for the academic year 2024/2025, under the following terms:

Application:

For a standard double occupancy room, with private bathroom and access to pantries for preparing light meals and other common areas/services.

Recipients:

Students entering the PUC for the first time in the 2024/2025 academic year, enrolled after September 22, 2024, in courses leading to academic degrees and higher professional technical courses (CTeSP) may apply for accommodation in the SASIPC residences.

Application admission criteria:

– Be enrolled or registered in one of the PUC organic units in courses leading to academic degrees or higher professional technical courses (CTeSP);

– Have no debts with SASIPC;

– Submit the application in accordance with Notice No. 11/2024/SASIPC for the 4th phase of applications for accommodation – 2024/2025.
