The Portugal Polytechnics International Network has as its mission the sharing of knowledge and training on foreign markets that allow, to the network of internationalization in person, information about the needs and desires of the Portuguese enterprises, supported by the excellence of Polytechnic Higher Education. And, in turn, to the CCISP members and the Portuguese enterprises, information about potential markets for the development of projects in the distinct regions.

The activities to be developed include events in the scope of the network, participation in international events, national internationalisation meetings and the collection, processing and analysis of information in the scope of internationalisation.

Also, as an innovative and entrepreneurial initiative, a network of Ambassadors of Portuguese Polytechnic Higher Education will be established, which will be responsible for preparing internal prospection reports on potential markets for projects involving CCISP members and the Portuguese business community.

Portugal Polytechnics International Network is the result of an application to the Support System for Collective Actions of Portugal 2020. It includes, as observers, all Polytechnic Institutions and University Institutions with a polytechnic component and, as associated partners, the Coordinating Council of Higher Polytechnic Institutes (CCISP), Turismo de Portugal, IAPMEI and dozens of business entities.
