Course Objectives
The course Polysomnography: from Setup to Staging emerges as a direct response to the growing demands in the field of sleep studies, where the quality of diagnosis critically depends on the technical competence of the professionals involved.
This course was designed with a focus on the two major pillars of polysomnography practice: the preparation and setup of the exam, and the rigorous staging of sleep based on the recorded data.
By emphasizing both “knowing how to do” and “knowing how to interpret,” this course goes beyond the transmission of theoretical knowledge and promotes the
development of essential practical skills for work in sleep laboratories.
In this way, it will contribute to strengthening the capacity of healthcare services and enhancing the professional pathway of participants, making them more autonomous, precise, and better prepared for the current and future challenges of sleep medicine.
