Boosting People and the Territory
The project “Boosting People and the Territory” is an initiative of the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra aiming to formalise a consortium to develop training programmes within the scope of the Impulso Jovens STEAM and Impulso Adultos programmes, starting from the development phase of the training plans, through implementation of the programme, to the trainees’ integration in the labour market.
The training programmes are organised into five main areas. Those areas are
Public Administration and Services;
Arts and Design;
Forestry, Environment and Agrifood;
Industry and Digital Technology;
Health, Ageing, Sports and Tourism;
The goal is to meet the needs of the labour market, promoting a connection between knowledge and practice and contributing to the reinforcement of qualification and competitiveness of the regional economy.
