Course Objectives
The microaccreditation is designed to encourage students to pursue their studies in the area of nutrition associated with gastrointestinal health, promoting the
improvement of practical clinical skills and competencies in this highly relevant area. It is known that gut health depends on the diversity and balance of beneficial bacteria. Thus, nutrition plays a fundamental role in gastrointestinal health, influencing everything from digestion to the balance of gut microbiota.
Access Conditions
Students in the 4th year of the degree course in Nutrition Sciences of the Coimbra Health School (ESTeSC-IPC), as well as holders of the degree in Nutrition Sciences who are students of the Master’s course taught by ESTeSC-IPC, can apply for this micro-credential.
