Teaching Methodologies
The teaching of the curricular unit has an eminently theoretical and practical character. Alongside the expository methodology, it will focus on active methodologies of text analysis, demonstration/ analysis, and resolution of practical cases.
Learning Results
Objectives:
Acquisition of organizational knowledge and practices that provide a full understanding of the current relevance of human behavior topics and their respective methodologies for human resources optmizing. Alongside theoretical approaches and models, students are expected to learn behaviors, methodologies, and instruments that, in organizational context, allow them to fully participate in organizations, contributing to value creation and personal fulfillment.
Competencies to be developed:
– Understand the relevance of organizational behavior topics to people management practices and organizational success;
– Understand approaches and practices that facilitate the people connection to organizations;
– Recognize and interpret communication, leadership, and motivation practices appropriate to different organizational situations and contexts;
– Identify potential conflict situations and interpret conflict management and negotiation strategies appropriate to different organizational situations and contexts;
– Participate in the development of effective work teams, interpreting people management best practices.
