Teaching Methodologies

Classes will be predominantly practical, centered on basic vocal techniques and interpretation of a diverse repertoire.

 

Students can opt for continuous/periodic assessment or assessment by exam in the normal period.

 

In continuous assessment, based on the mandatory attendance of 75% of the classes taught, the criteria to be applied are: Reading – 30%; Vocal technique – 40%; Interpretation – 30%.

 

In the evaluation by examination of the normal season, based on the mandatory attendance of 75% of the classes taught, the criteria to be applied are: Reading – 30%; Vocal technique – 40%; Interpretation – 30%.

 

Students can enroll in an exam at the time of appeal, provided they have attended at least 75% of the classes taught.

 

In the case of assessment by exam (normal season and appeal), with 2 pieces to be indicated by the teachers, the candidate must ensure the presence of at least 1 singer per suit (SATB).

Learning Results

– Develop the rhythmic sense and auditory acuity;

– Promoting a taste for group musical practice;

– Create conditions that allow the mental domain of musical reading;

– Cultivate and develop inner hearing and selective hearing;

– Develop vocal techniques that allow good performance in choral music.

– Create conditions for the recognition of a correct aesthetic interpretation.

– Apply vocal improvement techniques in contexts of expression, education, training and musical animation.

– Apply differentiated vocal techniques adapted to different contexts;

– Know the physiognomy of the vocal tract.
