Teaching Methodologies

There are two ways of carrying out an Internship:

Type A: Carrying out a full-time internship in an organization in which a professional activity is carried out in one of the specialties of Communication Sciences or Organizational Sciences, with a final evaluation of a Report, applicable to all students enrolled in the 3rd year of the degree;

Type B: Carrying out an applied research project, for students under the following conditions:

a) with student-worker status;

b) requests approved by the Internship Committee, under the proposal of the student;;

c) no formal internship up to two weeks after the begining of the 2nd semester.

Learning Results

The internship curricular unit aims to acquire the following general skills: a) To know the reality of the labor market and integrate the different components of training (theoretical, theoretical-practical and practical) for the execution of professional tasks in real contexts of job; b) Know how to mobilize the theorectical, scientific and technical knowledge acquired in the analysis of concrete cases of organizational practices; c) Acquire new scientific and technical knowledge in the scope of carrying out research work; d) Provide an experience of approaching the labor market, capable of contributing to the further professional insertion of graduates; e) Establish privileged collaborative relationships between school degree and organizations operating in the field of communication.
