Teaching Methodologies
The syllabus will be developed through: theoretical-practical sessions where the active participation of the student becomes important so that their learning is meaningful, enhancing critical thinking and the ability to analyze problems.
The evaluation in this curricular unit respects the terms of the Rules of the School of Education and of The Polytechnic University of Coimbra. Students may choose between the evaluation during the semester and examination.
Learning Results
This course contributes to the acquisition and development of the following skills:
Knowing and identifying the foundations of human development;
Understanding the determinants of the process of learning for children and young (listeners and deaf);
Promoting the process of teaching and learning of PSL as 1st and 2nd Language developing appropriate training content;
Developing methods and dydactical resources for PSL teaching.
