Prática Educativa em 2º Ciclo do Ensino Básico

Teaching Methodologies

The Seminar will take place weekly, involving the use of:
a. Explanations of the professors for scientific and pedagogical deepening of the content areas of the program;
b. Selection, preparation and planning of topics to be implemented in the classroom;
c. Construction of instruments for: observation/evaluation, activity plans and teaching materials;
d. Reflection on classroom practice and on the trainee’s learning in different pedagogical situations;
e. Discussion and resolution of problem situations identified in the internship;
f. Orientation and monitoring of the Internship Dossier.

Learning Results

Master the knowledge of principles and methods that enable future teachers to adopt an investigative attitude in professional performance
in a specific context, based on the understanding and critical analysis of relevant research. – Perspective and support the pedagogical
action in the integrative framework of the principles and values of the curriculum in Basic Education. – To adapt theoretical knowledge to the
requirements of teaching in the curricular areas or subjects covered by the respective domain of qualification for teaching. – Raise
consistent clues for educational intervention and research, and formulate working hypotheses and research projects and educational
intervention appropriate to the context and subjects. – Perspective observation as an adequate strategy to understand the educational
context and the subject to be educated, and use assessment as a pedagogical regulator. -Plan the educational intervention in the domains
of Portuguese and HGP.

Program

For each of the domains: History and Geography of Portugal and Portuguese:
1.Observation and evaluation in an educational context:
a. Construction and use of observation/evaluation instruments.
b. Analysis and interpretation of data.
2.Curricular Construction – from legal regulations to intervention planning.
3. Educational intervention and critical reflection on practices.
