Teaching Methodologies
The methodologies used are active, with the use of presentation of real classroom situations on video, reflection and discussion about them,
group dynamics and role play for strategy training, exploration of content and materials and, to consolidate information, the presentation of
content. It is also an integral part of its methodology, the discussion and support for the autonomous work of trainees, applying content in
their training/professional practice.
Learning Results
This course aims to make students aware of the benefits that socio-emotional education can bring to promoting a positive educational
environment, both for educators and teachers themselves, as well as for children/students and technical staff. At the end of this UC,
students should: – Know how to develop positive relational strategies with children/students;
-Maintain a calm and assertive approach when faced with behavioral challenges;
-Promote healthy interpersonal relationships within the school community;
-Be able to identify and support students with emotional difficulties;
-Use emotional regulation techniques to help students manage negative emotions.
