Teaching Methodologies
The students’ work will be accompanied by two supervisors. An external supervisor, belonging to the organization where the internship period will take place, and an internal supervisor, a professor at ESAC. Both supervisors will play an active role in supporting the student’s work and the preparation of the final internship report. In addition to the work carried out during the internship period, the student will have to prepare a final report and make an oral presentation before a jury made up of professors. This jury will be made up of a president, the teacher who supervised the student’s work and another teacher who will question the final internship report. The final classification will be obtained by weighting the work developed, the written report and its oral presentation.
Learning Results
The internship is intended for students to have a first contact with the world of work and to complement the students’ training through their contact with the different activities related to their future professional activity, preferably outside ESAC. The objective of the internship is to apply the knowledge acquired in the remaining curricular units of the degree to specific situations, looking for solutions in an autonomous way. It is also intended that students develop their work skills, either in a team or independently, the ability to communicate and the ability to synthesize information. The student is responsible for complying with the approved activity plan and preparing an Internship Report, in accordance with the rules adopted at the educational establishment where the Internship is evaluated. This UC is regulated by the 1st cycle internship regulation: http://www1.esac.pt/alunos/Regulamentos/Regulamento_estagio_final_1o_ciclo_2018_11_07.pdf
