Teaching Methodologies

Presentation and debate of relevant theoretical concepts in the classroom; Guidance on the autonomous study of students by consulting the recommended bibliography; Presentation and discussion of case studies that reinforce theoretical learning.
– Practical theoretical component – frequency based on practical cases, previously scheduled, with a duration of approximately 1h30m, in which the grade must be equal to or greater than 9.5.
– Practical component – a set of reports, opinions and case study work, to be carried out and delivered at the end of each evaluation period, previously scheduled, whose global score must be equal to or greater than 9.5. Mandatory participation of the student, in all these evaluation moments.
50% attendance (practical theoretical component) + 50% practical component grade

Learning Results

The student must acquire knowledge of:
Legislation and regulations applicable to the field of knowledge habitat types and their relationship to human health urban health and the implications for environmental health project analysis
The student must acquire skills to:
Identify the habitability conditions of a building according to its use
Recognize the basics of healthy housing
Know how to intervene in unhealthy situations
The student must acquire competences to:
Identify, assess and intervene in the promotion of hygiene/healthiness of the various types of human artificial habitat;
Understand the application of the ecosystem approach within the artificial human habitat;
Identify the principles of habitat sustainability and relate to the health of populations
