Course Objectives
The CTeSP study in Agrotenology aims to provide applied scientific and technological training in the field of high-yield plant production.
It aims to train professionals capable of planning, executing and managing high-yield plant production, with a focus on balance and environmental sustainability.
Access Conditions
– Holders of a secondary education course or legally equivalent qualification;
– Those who have passed the specially appropriate tests designed to assess the ability to attend higher education for those over 23 years old, taken for the course in question, under the terms of Decree-Law n.º 64/2006, of march 21, as amended by Decree-Laws n.º 113/2014, of july 16 and n.º 63/2016, of september 13;
– Holders of a technological specialization diploma, a higher professional technician diploma or a higher education degree.

• Agricultural entrepreneur of a small or medium agricultural farm;
• Farm technician;
• Technician of producer organizations or agricultural cooperatives.

Learning Objectives
The CTeSP in Agrotechnology aims to train technicians with the capacity to plan, execute and manage high-yield plant production, without neglecting agricultural and environmental sustainability. They must be able to plan the choice of species and varieties, the appropriate cultural operations, to implement technologies that allow the highest yield at the lowest cost, to coordinate and execute tasks throughout the production process and to manage a small or medium agricultural farm implementing strategies of entrepreneurship, marketing and commercialization.
