Microaccreditation in Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

This brief course is intended to provide a guide to understanding and/or carrying out a systematic review for publication, indicating all stages of the review process, allowing the development of a set of skills including literature research and scientific writing. It is also intended to provide trainees with a set of strategies and tools that allow them to aggregate the results of two or more independent studies, on the same research question, combining their results in a summary measure.

It is intended that trainees: a) acquire fundamental knowledge of radiobiology and the effects of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation on biological matter; b) understand the fundamental concepts of radiation dosimetry, and c) know the methodological principles of radiological protection; d) understand the technical-scientific foundations that support diagnostic and therapeutic techniques that use radiation; e) Know the legislation applicable to the health protection of the population and workers against dangers resulting from radiation.
